Sean Rollinson brings over 26 years of experience across the behavioral health and healthcare systems landscape. His professional background spans acute psychiatric hospitals, behavioral health hospitals, residential treatment programs, crisis response services, outpatient practice, and healthcare leadership. This multi-level experience uniquely positions him to understand the operational pressures faced by healthcare professionals across levels of care.

Throughout his career, Sean has served in both frontline and executive leadership roles within high-acuity healthcare environments. In senior leadership positions, he directed clinical operations within large inpatient psychiatric settings, supervised multidisciplinary teams of master’s-level clinicians, and provided operational oversight in fast-paced, high-demand systems. Earlier in his career, he worked in crisis triage units, inpatient psychiatric facilities, residential treatment programs, and intensive outpatient services—gaining firsthand experience in environments where emotional regulation, communication clarity, and team stability directly impact outcomes.

In 2016, Sean founded Enso Counseling and Coaching, LLC, a Scottsdale-based private practice where he developed structured emotional intelligence curriculum and facilitated educational workshops and group programs for patients and clients. In addition to his clinical leadership, he has served as an Adjunct Instructor at Grand Canyon University within the College of Behavioral Health Science, teaching undergraduate coursework in addiction, trauma, and mental health.

Sean is the creator of the Mastering Emotional Intelligence™ (MEI) framework, a structured, skills-based model translating emotional intelligence principles into operational tools for healthcare systems. MEI Strategies was established to extend this work beyond psychotherapy into organizational culture development, leadership training, and workforce sustainability.

He holds a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling with a specialization in trauma, abuse, and deprivation, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Communication. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Supervisor under the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners and a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors.

In 2025, Sean delivered a TEDx presentation in Grand Junction, Colorado, titled World Peace Is Not a Political Process — It’s a Personal One, highlighting his belief that emotional intelligence and personal responsibility are foundational to meaningful cultural change.
